APNG Promotional Video Competition

APNG is seeking short video clips (3 minutes in length) from creative individuals to demonstrate and promote APNG and its activities, and milestones.

It is necessary that the short video clip reflect the objectives and mission of APNG in a visionary multimedia presentation, be able to communicate how APNG can contribute to society through its activities, and grab the attention of the Asia Pacific Internet Community and get them thinking about APNG and its community.

Make sure your work meets all the criteria. There is no entry fee.

Criteria

The short video clip:

  1. Should not be more than 3 minutes in length.
  2. Should not contain the contact details of the applicant in the video.
  3. Must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity.

Eligibility

The entrant:

  1. Must be a Full-time student of a university or college (public or private), or

  2. Must be employed by Internet-related company and in the age less than 35 years old

Award

Depending on the quality and content of the video clip, the APNG Camp Organizing Committee will offer the winner of the competition an award of full/partial fellowship to attend and participate in the 10th APNG camp which will be held at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand on 11 – 15 August 2008.

Submission:

Interested contestants can submit his/her creative video in either CD or DVD format. All entries must be received by 15th March 2008:

Winner Announcement

The Winner will be announced on 15 April 2008.

The winning entry will eventually become the property of APNG once it has been selected and APNG holds the right to use the material at its will in the future.
