      1. It is vice use APNG fellowship money to invite new fellows.
      2. It was not a good trend in last year since we spend almost (50%) of fellowships funds to committee members.
      3. It is better if committee can find sponsors for themselves.
    • No blanket reserved for committee members
    • Committee members who are expected to have a fellowship need to compete with all applicants.
    • Committee members will not get any preference.
    • It was noted that the way APNG Camp organize WG, is expected have WG chairs in the up-coming WG discussion.
    • Then the question was "what will happen if one of WG chair did not have a fellowship?"
    • Committee considered how Committee members participated in the Camps previous to last. Sumith and Audit pointed out following matters:
      • Most of committee members were from developed countries.
      • Fellowships were awarded to developing countries those days.
      • Therefore, most of the committee members from developed countries arranged expenses on their own.
      • Most of the committee members in developing countries received fellowships.
      • One time (7th Camp) disaster management WG was presented (by Sagarika - Sri Lanka) over Video Conference.
    • It is highly likely that WG chairs will be selected anyway as they are all experts in their own fields.
    • Following situations were expected to APNG executive committees if they arise:
      1. If a committee member was not selected but he/she is still interested in participating next camp and need funding from APNG.
