I was saddened to hear of Professor Ishida's passing. His contribution to the Internet community was immense where he actively engaged in numerous endeavours locally, regionally and internationally. The fact that the APNG Camp is in its eleventh year in 2009 is testament to his pioneering leadership and vision, and Professor Ishida will be remembered for his contribution to the success APNG is today.
